Secondary Play
This play is mainly based off speculation from the information I have received on this project's upcoming utility and releases. This will only be a brief description of the project, as I am mainly going to be diving into the future of the project and how the secondary play will unfold.
Introduction
Sake Lab is a visionary art and design laboratory, that is working on collections and design that transcend the conventional expectations of NFT projects. They state that their mission is to deliver exceptional value to holders while fostering a dynamic and engaging community. Each collection - by Sake Labs - will be interconnected and tied together by a shared narrative within the Sake Labs world. All the collections will features their own unique story, contributing to the overall narrative and immersing viewers in the Sake Lab universe. Lastly, they say that the use of this shared narrative will ensure viewers to become invested in the story and are motivated to explore more of the Sake Lab world.
Project Breakdown
Different Collections
Sake Labs is divided into different collections, each with its own unique story that contributes to the overall narrative of the Sake lab Universe. Each collection is designed to transport viewers into a different world, where they can experience the art and culture of Sake brewing in a new and exciting way. Each collection will be linked by a common thread, such as a shared history or a recurring theme.
$SAKE Token
The $SAKE token will serve as the project's utility token. Initial utilities will include raffles for Uramaki's Art with the token. The $SAKE token will also be REQUIRED for discounted access to Sake Lab's second collection and for future upgrades of the second collection. They will be adding a staking multiplier to the first few weeks to compensate for the time lost.
You earn 1 $SAKE per HecticHead staked.
The Team
This information is quoted from their litepaper:
Alessandro -
"He always had a passion for conceptual art and character design but finally chose the automotive field to avoid ending up in the middle of the road painting asphalt with chalk, and absurdly he also seems to have been quite successful becoming a Lead Designer. After ten years he still decided to give it a try by starting SAKELAB together with the other asshole." Marco -
"Experienced full-time degen and fitness dickhead (he eats Greek yogurt that looks like cement and always takes videos and photos of himself as a slut). Engineer by the day and Marketing Manager by the rest of the time who can play many different roles in any given situation. He is a master of trial and error with a huge focus on errors. But he never gives up!"
The Secondary Play:
So, the play here is based off the information I have received for the future of the project. I can't disclose everything I have been told, but know that I wouldn't be making this call if I wasn't bullish on the project.
Firstly, I have seen some sneak-peeks of the upcoming art of the PFP collection for Sake Labs and I have to say I am very impressed with that they have produced so far. I think this art is top-tier and some of the best art I have seen on Solana.
The future of the project seems to be an art ponzi that benefits the initial genesis collection holders the most. You will need their token to really progress through this project's utility, so you should be stacking $SAKE as early as possible. Therefore, when their staking goes live (in around 10 days of making this post), I would stake your HecticHeads (genesis collection) ASAP.
The main focus of this project is the art they produce and the stories they deliver - with the value being based around the quality of both those points. A project with quality art and a community behind them can go far - especially if the team behind them is capable. I can truly see this project being a success if both:
- The quality of art stays high.
- The community behind the project stays active and engaging.
The community aspect will go hand-in-hand with the quality of art produced, as more eyes and engagement on the project will come when the public see the sneak-peeks I have just seen. Therefore, the play is to slowly accumulate HecticHeads leading up to the public sneak-peek releases of the upcoming PFP collection by Sake Labs.
I have accumulated 34 so far, and plan to have around 50 before the team get the ball rolling and start releasing sneak-peeks and more holder utility. My average entry is around 0.3 - 0.35 SOL so far. This play will probably take up to 3 - 4 weeks to work out, but I truly think this will be a profitable one.
